Ross Gingerich
Ross Gingerich has attended Heidelberg Church of the Brethren (Atlantic Northeast District) all of his life. He accepted the call to follow Jesus at the age of eight and in 2018 was called to help serve as a part of the plural ministry team at Heidelberg. Ross also serves as a song leader at the church, allowing him to use his gift of music. Ross has served on the BRF since 2014. Currently, one of his roles on the committee includes tackling technology related issues with BRF material. He also serves on the Bible Helps committee.
After working at a local dairy farm and creamery through his high school years, Ross spent the first year out of school in Brethren Volunteer Service in Lewiston, Maine. Ross began working as an electrician for D.S. Burkholder in 2015. While he enjoyed his work there, he desired something that challenged him more, and in 2020 began working for Ehst Systems and Controls as a service technician working in the field of electrical controls and automation. He enjoys finding solutions to the problems that arise in the world of automation. In addition to enjoying his job, Ross likes to spend his spare time doing projects that improve the value of his home and seeing how quickly he can solve the Rubik’s Cube. He enjoys playing the piano and trying out new instruments. He can occasionally be found serenading his family with the accordion. Ross is quite handy at fixing all sorts of things and is always up to the challenge of diagnosing the problem of something that is malfunctioning.
Ross married Joyelle (Bollinger) Gingrich in 2016. They live in Denver, PA. The couple has been blessed with two beautiful children who keep them busy and entertained. Lord willing, they will welcome another baby to their family late this spring. Spending time with his family is one of Ross’s favorite things, and he loves taking them to new places and teaching his children new things.
